Eligible Improvements

Must be a replacement unit. Purchase and installation must take place in Alberta. A copy of the receipt must indicate payment method (in full), the applicant’s name, installation address and purchase date, along with the manufacturer and model of the furnace/boiler or hot water system.

Rebate

ENERGY STAR qualified gas furnace with an annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) of 92% or better. 

$400 

ENERGY STAR qualified gas furnace with an AFUE of 92% or better and a DC variable-speed motor.

$500

ENERGY STAR qualified zero-clearance gas furnace with an AFUE of 90% or better (mobile homes only).

ENERGY STAR qualified oil boiler with an AFUE of 85% or better.

ENERGY STAR qualified condensing gas boiler with an AFUE of 90% or better.
