You may qualify for provincial grants to make your home more energy efficient. Your upgraded home will reap the energy cost savings immediately, and the BC Government will issue grants and/or rebates to you for upgrading your home. bc-province.pngThe BC government’s LiveSmart BC: Efficiency Incentive Program provides rebates up to $7,000. The LiveSmart BC rebate program is in effect until March 31, 2013.

LiveSmart BC programs are designed to empower British Columbian citizens, businesses and consumers to make smarter, greener lifestyle choices. The decision to take action on climate change can come in the form of behaviour changes, consumer choices (energy and fuel efficient products or home heating systems), or conservation decisions (energy usage, home retrofits, and upgrades).

The Rebates and Incentives listed here are designed to decrease your overall energy consumption (electricity and natural gas) and help you enjoy savings from lower monthly bills.
